A pioneer and dealmaker since the advent of rugby professionalism in 1995, LMG founder Craig Livingstone has come to define excellence in sports management.

Craig's vision and expertise has led to many successful partnerships, not least in representing every Springbok rugby captain between 1999 and 2015 and managing some of the world's best players in Joost van der Westhuizen, Schalk Burger, Fourie du Preez, Bryan Habana and Lukhanyo Am, among others.

Additionally, he manages a number of the best coaches in the world in Jake White, Eddie Jones and John Dobson. He has also looked after cricket stars Makhaya Ntini, Graeme Smith and Quinton De Kock. What separates Craig from the rest is the emphasis that he places on developing long-lasting relationships with clients, business partners and other stakeholders that he works with. Equipped with a deep understanding of the sports world’s vibrant ecosystem, Craig's experience and reputation is second to none and he continues to be a respected leader in his field.

Director

Having spent the three years helping the establishment and the growth of the Kolisi Foundation, as well as a stint with Roc Nation Sports International, Joel Smith joined LMG as a business partner.

Joel’s experience in organisational development, and partnership development and management, will be critical to the success of LMG in the years to come. Joel also served as the Client Services Manager at Roc Nation Sports International, which gave him good insight into the sports management industry both locally and internationally.

Having spent time in the sports and non-profit industries, Joel has developed a strong network of corporate, commercial, and high-net worth individuals; and aims to utilise these networks to grow sports both locally and internationally.

Golf Co-founding Director

Philip is the co-founder and managing partner of LMG Golf. He joined the group in March 2024. Previously, he worked at IMG in the United States and United Kingdom. He holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Cambridge University in the United Kingdom, BComm Management Accounting from Stellenbosch University, and is a CIMA Charter Holder.

He has a great passion for business and sport. Philip has a strong relationship and history with South African golf. He won numerous titles on the South African junior and amateur circuits and represented his country on various occasions throughout his career.

The former IMG executive has gained invaluable experience in sports and brands business throughout his career. He cultivated a robust network within the global sports arena, collaborating with boards and executives of international sports associations and businesses to enhance and expand their commercial assets worldwide.

Head of Digital Marketing and Content

Rufus Dickson is a dynamic force in the world of sports marketing and content creation, bringing visionary leadership to our team as the Head of Digital Marketing and Content. With a passion for creative expression and an unwavering commitment to excellence, Rufus is dedicated to redefining industry standards and seamlessly bridging the gap between marketing and content creation.

Over a career spanning more than four years, Rufus has honed his skills as a photographer, video editor, videographer, and graphic designer. At our agency, Rufus leverages his extensive experience and innovative vision to lead our digital marketing and content strategies, ensuring we deliver compelling and impactful content that resonates with audiences and drives engagement.

Executive Chairman

Following a 36 year career in corporate and investment banking at Rand Merchant Bank, Ryan Proudfoot has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Livingstone Management Group (LMG) of companies.

A Chartered Accountant (S.A) by training, Ryan brings a wealth of client experience, an owner-manager culture and balanced expertise to LMG, having sat on numerous Boards and Committees in establishing and managing Financial Market Infrastructures within South Africa's capital markets during his career.

He is an avid golfer and passionate South African sports supporter.
